okay yes, so I went to macau over the recess week holiday. haha, it's called recess week what! so anyway, it's my second time in macau, I went there when I was about 4 years old. apparently, I was on a ferry from Hongkong and my only memory is that I puked all over the deck. so ya, haha, I had pleasanter memories this time :)and while it was supposed to be a study trip, I managed to get quite alot of shopping done haha, so it was really pretty fun!
haha, us in our formal wear for the hotel tour the next day! seriously, deming looks like a groom to be haha. we all look so grown-up :) but the hotel tour was pretty fun, notwithstanding the fact that they ducked all our questions about the hotel's performance in the economic downturn and they refused to show us their presidential suite.
camwhore deming! haha, he whips out his camera wherever he goes, even in the lift, he's taking photos of everybody haha.
and they have this cute place called QUBE, where the parents can dump their kids while they go to the casinos. pretty sad concept if you think about it but at least it's fun for the kids. they have playstations, tvs, playgrounds, balls and even free internet wireless access la, kids are having the good life here.
went to visit MGM Grand hotel the next day, so I was doing my best impression of a roaring lion haha.
then we went to Galaxy Starworld hotel which seriously had the best service. the people were all super nice and they showed us the high-roller's room where the toilets are seriously bigger than my bed room. that's the toilet in the second picture, it overlooks the whole cityline of macau haha. we didn't want to leave the toilet after that :)
then, we celebrated yanling's 20th birthday on the third night! it was nearly a failed celebration because the guys got lost in the hotel la, but luckily we managed to make it a few minutes after midnight so it wasn't so bad :)
then went to st paul's on the last day for some last minute camwhoring, shopping and sightseeing. haha, actually there's nothing much to see in the church since the back part's been demolished by a fire. but still, it was fun to go and absorb the touristy atmosphere. there were like tons of chinese tourists milling around the place when we were there.
all in all, macau was damn fun and i'm glad my BGS group pressured me into going. hey, school's stressful but we al need a break :)
