think of it as getting on an airplane and flying off. right now, it's just that her ticket is here and she's ready to board the plane. it's only a temporary separation. one day, when your ticket and plane is here, you'll get onto it and then you'll see her again. and because He lives, we have hope that one day, we will see all the people we love again in a place where there is no pain, no fear, no sadness. till that day comes, I'll keep you in my heart.

it's tough to be in a situation where you have to accept you can't do anything. but it's okay, we NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER SURRENDER, that's what reading bleach and naruto does to you haha. at least watching this will make your heart turn fuzzywarm and maybe even ache a little. love is really found in the strangest places, especially in the arctic where polar bears cuddle dogs <3

;00:55and on thursday, we finally went to the zoo and fulfilled peiyi's long-time wish to see the white tigers! haha, but for me, it was like second time in the space of 2 months that I was at the zoo. and actually it wasn't really hot, but all the sunfearing people brought floppy hats (jojo), applied a lot of sunscreen (rachel) or brought big, colourful umbrellas (peiyi) haha, it looked more like some parade la. i'm the least kiasi one can, I only brought my sunglasses hahaha.
okay, can't really see the animal in the background cos the light very strong but it's a pygmy hippo! I think it's funny that pygmy hippos can't swim so what they are actually doing is kind of floating gracefully through the water. but I saw the poster of them doing it, and it looks more like they're tiptoeing through the water so maybe I can learn that skill instead of swimming.
behind us is the white tiger! actually out of all the animals, I would say I like the white tigers best. they're really majestic and their colouring is really pretty. both times that I've been to see the tigers, there's always this one tiger that's posing for the crowd so they're always very entertaining as well. haha, and jojo really looks a rich taitai from the back with her hat and her straw bag :)

and us waiting for the zoo show to begin at the shaw amphitheater! the zoo show that's on now is called 'the rainforest fights back'. the show is not bad, but I wished they used more animals in the show bcos as long as I can remember, they've always ended with ducks swimming in the pool part. next time, maybe they should include the tigers. that would be interesting.
and us at this part of the zoo that looks more like the botanic gardens! rachel kept taking photos of greenery la, it was as if we were at chinese gardens.

and giraffes though they're a bit covered by the leaves!
all in all, an amazing day and even managed to squeeze in abit of shopping at TT at the end where I got my beloved TT shorts!

in short, I think it's like a scab. when I back off and allow it time to heal abit, I feellike I can talk, joke, listen. be myself. but when it itches and I scratch, or something happens and pulls the skin back off again, I feel like there's something gouging stuff right out of my inner core. and then like any old scab, it hurts when you put water on it, it hurts when you touch it, it hurts to just be there. I work my day around a call, but when I pick up, sometimes I feel my voice drying up inside of me, like words waiting inside a pen. I feel like I have so much to say, that I want to talk, talk and talk until my jaws ache and I fall asleep. but there's no right time, no right place, nobody listening. so I write down like they taught me, the things I wanted to say, to wait for a better time.
and enough of the selfish, emo nonsense really, I shall try to fall asleep to project runway s5. hope kenley collins gets kicked out, she's seriously getting on everybody's nerves.

being apart takes getting used to. seeing each other after a while takes more getting used to. to be able to fall into the rythyms and patterns of being we. nothing special, this time. just yoshinoya, ghost town (an entirely adorable movie), love and being loved. and a too-quick ending.

;23:08haha, I meant to have photos but all the photos are up on facebook and I don't have an account! so unless some kind soul emails me the photos, this entry will be forced to be text-only! diva la futbol 09 was really kind of great. we went further than we expected, all the way to q-finals! and I think we played really well in some of the matches, especially yingqi's first goal and shiyi's equaliser in the RP match! but the best thing is got to catch up with some of the soccer people whom I haven't seen in a while and got to chitchat haha. it's actually a good idea to have DLF at cage, it wasn't as hot as FICO and we got to hang around the huge fans while waiting for our matches. we really should do this more often, shows that actually without training, our team is still quite pro. and at least, talking to wendy and yq took my mind off stuff.

this has still been a crazy week but managed to spend some time at ikea on wednesday. had the always awesome poached salmon and soft ice-cream! and there was this very cute toy rat with a very realistic tail which I put in a display bathroom sink to see if people will get scared. wished we'd stay around to see if anyone screams hoho. in a week that has not been easy, I really appreciate the little time we have haha even though we spend it on arcade basketball, shooting games and roaming in furniture stores.
and everytime I go shopping with my mogu, I see something I absolutely adore. and she's very crafty one lor, she only encourage people to buy, she never ever buys stuff haha. then everytime I complain, she will say, where got lor, it's always you zhi gao fen yong say wah so nice so nice then zooom you go inside and try already cannn. haha, but we had a great time on thursday! and secret recipe has a most awesome tea time special now, everybody should go there and try the moist chocolate cake. I think after that, you cannot live without it.
right now, kinda waiting for news to see if he's reached safely. don't know if it's cos the reception there sucks or if my msgs haven't been received. zzz that's why I don't like hearing morbid stuff, I kept obsessing about it while walking home. but anyways, it would be better if the douhua shop at elias opens again. I just ordered my sister to go buy some douhua and apparently it's still closed. it's been closed for the past 3 days already la, the pasir ris people cannot take it anymore!
