crap so i've been contributing to that number also, so i'm stopping now! don't believe idol dramas where the girl keeps all the sadness to herself in her heart and pines away sadly. it doesn't happen in real life. real life is technicolor. real life has consequences. real life is where keeping quiet causes damn alot of stress. watched two bad movies in the space of one week, orphan with jojo and py and streetfighter: the legend of chunli haha. why why why are all the movies using the same plot!
but other than all that movie-watching last week, nothing else happening except tons of school readings. didn't get to eat dessert buffet cos mogu ate and said not worth it! other than thursday, nothing much to look forward to. this week has been just tiring, hoping things pick up soon.
Every once in a while, people step up. They rise above themselves. Sometimes they fall short. Life is funny sometimes - it can push pretty hard, but if you look close enough you can find hope in the words of children, the bars of a song and in the eyes of someone you love. And if you’re lucky, and I mean if you’re the luckiest person on the entire planet, the person you love decides to love you back.

a happy thought for the all people whose school terms have begun. i know i need tons of happy thoughts haha. whoever said the second year of school is always better must be kidding. the good thing is, now we get to bid together so jojo and i have each other for classes.
after the past month, i think we are stronger in a lot of ways. we've had our serious conversations, our disagreements, our making up and moving on. it's true that love is something you need to care about enough to work at. work at making things okay. working at loving each other when the going gets tough. work at moving your focus away from 'i' to 'us'. it's not always balloons and candy and fairies, the way it is on television. a part of me always knew that, but it is only now that i get to see a bit of what it means. and even as we move into a period where we need lots of faith, the good thing is we'll have each other. step up and be an emotional pillar.

But when we do spend time together, we'll make it count."
wise words indeed. celebrated a hundred and fifty days of being us at sizzler's at toa payoh where it was warm and sunny! lots of stuff for their salad lunch meal but not everything tasted awesome and he was complaining that the one in australia has tons of more good stuff haha. but still, it was fun being together, just talking and laughing about stupid stuff (keke I even tried the jellyfish on him which got an awesome reaction! from me la haha, not from him!).
got an awesome tab of earrings, love the casette tapes ones the most! hope they won't hurt when I wear them to sleep haha. and he seemed to love his bling, though he better wear it more often so I can get a good laugh haha. though we didn't really talk about serious stuff today, I felt like I laughed alot today, more than I usually do and everything went really well. conversation flowed in a way that I've missed over the past few weeks.
in all, it was tender, sweet and mindblowing. from start to finish.

because the weather in singapore has been simply awful lately, we decide to go try something new - ice skating at kallang! it's not v cheap though, about 17bucks for 2 hours including the skates but it's awesome to be somewhere so cool while it's burning hot outside haha. okay chris was telling me that ice-skating is kinda like roller-blading and since I know how to roller-blade, I should be fine.
not true! it's much harder to ice-skate la! cos you have to keep your balance and glide gracefully at the same time haha. I kept moving so slowly that I was blocking all the pro kids in front but when I tried to glide faster, I looked damn unglam! and I caused jojo and py to fall down with me a few times haha!

before they skate off haha, leaving poor me and peiyi behind! so we decide to go take a rest on the benches in case our legs give way while we're on the rink haha, very hard for people to avoid our fallen bodies later!
sadly, I only got the hang of it five mins before our time was up! no wonder the rink can keep earning money, apparently you have to keep practising to be good at it sooo I'll have to go back soon if I want to remember how to ice-skate haha. but it was fun and super good exercise! aiya but in the end, we ate whatever fat we burnt off cos we went to old airport road for dinner!
ytd was amazing. we talked about everything that I wanted to know, we had time to ourselves, we played the arcade games, we joked about stupid stuff, we gossiped about celebrities, we shared ham and cheese pocket toast and potato waffles and we made a date for our fifth.
and after everything, we are still we, a stronger we after the past two months of awfulness.
although there is more uncertainty ahead, we are good.

it's the last stretch before school starts again haha, straining to put in all sorts of stuff we wanted to do into the last two weeks we've got. first time I ever saw zouk ytd at the zouk flea n easy and boy, I didn't think it was that small lah! it's like so muuuuch smaller than the zouk I had in my head lor, sad. I expected it to be much grander than that. so I was saying to rach, "wah it's so tiny leh how do all the clubbing people fit in here?" and rach said, "aiya, that's why boys like to come here what! otherwise go clubbing for what, might as well stay at home!" LOLduh. also it's super ulu cos instead of taking a bus, we walked all the way from tiong bahru mrt to jiak kim street. ohmy, the most strenous exercise I've had in months haha.
but zouk flea was nice, cos it wasn't so crowded but it was filled with hip, eyelinered people haha everytime I go to a flea event, I think gosh I haven't seen so much eyeliner together in one place before! lots of clothes but only fell in love with one dress, the rest too ex already la and rach managed to get her sandals at ten bucks only, pro!
this past week feels like we've been in two different places but all's good, I've learnt how to deal with it. nothing a hot cup of tea, an open window and an early morning sms can't solve.
