On Thursday, I finally had the chance to listen to Bob Sorge in person! He was speaking about the intertwined stories of Jacob and Joseph, two stories which I've heard very often, but never in the way that he put it. And I think I took away something very precious from the session with him. 

First, I learnt that sometimes holding onto God is more painful than letting go. But when you have a hold of Promise itself, nothing less than the fullness of what God is about to give you will satisfy you. Second, I was reminded that when God gives you a promise, He will see you through it to the very end. That even when you've lost hope, when you've forgotten about it, when you no longer think that something is possible, God will bring it to fruition. 

So remember me, my Lord and hear me when I cry out to you. Help faith to arise as you move things into place. 

Let my soul not be satisfied until the fullness of all that you've promised comes to pass.
