was talking to weilin(!) about stuff when we kind of realised that somehow things came full circle in some areas of our lives. and that led me to think about the journeys which we take.
sometimes, we don't really understand the people we love. after all, Man's heart is deep water. he may not even know his own motivations. a little bit of love, a little bit of selfishness, a little bit of cunning. maybe that's why God breaks us, to teach us to give away the parts of the heart that we need to so that we become incomplete, in order that we learn to be complete in Him. like weilin said, we've to be crippled to be strengthened; to surrender to overcome; to sacrifice to gain.
being broken can be the most painful process, but in the end I know that gold has to pass through fire to be refined.
