because the weather in singapore has been simply awful lately, we decide to go try something new - ice skating at kallang! it's not v cheap though, about 17bucks for 2 hours including the skates but it's awesome to be somewhere so cool while it's burning hot outside haha. okay chris was telling me that ice-skating is kinda like roller-blading and since I know how to roller-blade, I should be fine.
not true! it's much harder to ice-skate la! cos you have to keep your balance and glide gracefully at the same time haha. I kept moving so slowly that I was blocking all the pro kids in front but when I tried to glide faster, I looked damn unglam! and I caused jojo and py to fall down with me a few times haha!

before they skate off haha, leaving poor me and peiyi behind! so we decide to go take a rest on the benches in case our legs give way while we're on the rink haha, very hard for people to avoid our fallen bodies later!
sadly, I only got the hang of it five mins before our time was up! no wonder the rink can keep earning money, apparently you have to keep practising to be good at it sooo I'll have to go back soon if I want to remember how to ice-skate haha. but it was fun and super good exercise! aiya but in the end, we ate whatever fat we burnt off cos we went to old airport road for dinner!
